Interested applicants should email their resume to Chip Bevis (AD) [email protected] and Travis Mayfield (Principal) [email protected] in addition to completing an application with Wilson County Schools at https://www.wcschools.com/domain/321 by April 22nd. Their best bet would be Steve Thompson...currently lives there...HOF nominated in MS...409-221 record...7 state tournaments...but they won't hire an old guy. They don't want someone like Steve Thompson that demands discipline from both the players and parents. The program is in desperate need of new blood and major dose of discipline. It's time to clean house and that includes both coaches and probably a few of the players that don't have a good attitude and are unwilling to work hard. Is this why Troy Bond left? Just curious...I don't know him or his situation that well but I know he pretty much started the program and had great success.
