If a team in 1A has 2 or 3 high major d1 kids on it doesn't mean that team will win a title. I doubt there are many 1A schools in Tennessee with kids that have offers from high major d1 talent. A big difference in having offers and being looked at seriously. Lol

I agree.

That’s why I stated... a team that has multiple D1 kids along with some other pretty good players SHOULD dominate.

I’m sorry if you disagree with me. It doesn’t bother me either way. And yes take it easy on me. Aren’t you from Milan? I know Coach Jeff Morris well. I spent some time with him back in the day when I lived in West Tennessee. LMBO

Did you read my post before you responded?  I have said several times that I didn’t disagree with you about a 1A team having D1 talent should be very good. I just wanted you to explain your logic that Freedom Preps coaching must not be good. And you keep saying I disagree with you. Either your not reading my posts or your a little slow. Either way I’ll say it for a fourth time so maybe it helps. I AGREE WITH YOU!!  Now do you care to answer my question finally about Freedom’s coaching?  Ever seen them or are you just guessing??

Neither.. just a hunch. I don’t know a lot about that team. Have a great evening.

Darn, I think you rattled Bass, BPM....   I've never heard him say "I don't know" about anything....:roflol:

I really don’t know much about them. Other than they have several D1 prospects. It’s my opinion they should be better than they have been. You know I watch 1A closely. One thing I do know. We are all chasing Greenback U again this season. 4 really good teams in 1A. All of them have a decent chance, but Greenback has the early edge because of all these new kids. They have been the measuring stick lately.

I'd like to meet you sometime, Bass.  I do value your opinion on here.   Introduce yourself in Cookeville this year if we haven't already met and I didn't know who you were.

You I actually agree with a lot of things Bass says. I just think it’s not cool to say the coaches are doing a sub par job when you don’t even know who the coaches are.

Maybe they are.. I’m just saying in 1A football one D1 kid usually dominates the game. Especially at a skill position. That bunch out there seems to have a lot of them. The team I was talking about was actually Greenback University. I’ve watched SP a very long time. I’m not sure I remember one kid ever getting as many offers as those kids for The U have this season. Eddie Moore went to TN and he dominated folks. Robinson went to UTC and he dominated folks. Those two neither got a gold ball, but they were dominate players. Two on the same team plus all the transfers should spell trouble for the rest of 1A. I’m just calling it like I see it.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
