Cornersville was only an honorable mention this year for the top 10. Thank you for putting us in 4th, but I like where we are. We will see what the season holds and maybe we can sneak up on some folks again this year.

The Dresden team that beat GB a few years ago would have mopped the floor with the teams that has made it and won it the last few years. A healthy GB team last year would have beat cornersville. we lost two of our best players last year one before season and one in the playoffs. If you go back and watch our games you would see that those two made a lot of our big plays and scored most of our points unless we were playing weak opponents.

Last year WhitwellCornersvilleGreenbackSouthPitt were all this close.  This year hasn't even begun.  But I will say it should be close again with 2 teams from each side of the bracket capable of bringing home the gold.

I agree, I hope we can get things going bye playoffs and make it three from east side.

If our receiver didn’t get hurt last year, we would’ve beaten Whitwell and Cornersville. And that Dresden team you’re talking about would whoop y’all Falcons plus whoever wanted to play them by a good margin. I know firsthand. We don’t know how the GB team will be this year but it won’t surprise me one bit of this team is better than last year. And the east is superior until you take back the Gold ball.

It’s a shame that Greenback was the only team that went deep in the 1A playoffs that had starters injured. The other teams caught a lucky break.
