The coach was not the only one who acted improperly. If he stepped down you would still have assistant coaches and players that acted improperly. Non of the 3 requires anyone to take responsibility for their actions other than the head coach. In my opinion all need to take responsibility for their part. Perhaps if coaches, players, and parents acted like civil human beings at high school sporting events, specifically towards officials, we would have better qualified people in those positions.
