My TV 30 Friday Night Rivals Schedule

Week 1 Dickson County at Creek Wood

Week 2 Clarksville at Springfield 

Week 3 Shelbyville at Page

Week 4 Pulaski Academy (AR) at Ravenwood 

Week 5 Hendersonville at Lebanon 

Week 6 Blackman at Riverdale

Week 7 Cane Ridge at Smyrna 

Weeks 8-11 to be determined at a later date.

 

My guess is the last 4 weeks will be determined based on how teams look late in the season and if the games have huge playoff implications.

For the most part, this schedule doesn't say "MAN CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THAT GAME!"  I've offered to put a travel schedule together for those guys before...

Here is the schedule we have for the upcoming season.   We'll attend one of the four games listed each week.   They should of referred to this!

Interesting to see Pulaski Academy, Arkansas. They are the clowns that cancelled home/home with Oakland late in the summer of 2017 which led to Oakland having to schedule 1A RePublic.

Pulaski Academy vs Ravenwood could be a good game depending what type of team Pulaski Academy has this year.  They were featured on ESPN a few years ago as the team that never punted but who knows if they even have the same coaching staff.

I think they always onside kick also. Should be fun to watch.

I hope WAVE88 doesn't mind, I didn't want to start a new thread for this. (There's only about two dozen of us on the T right now anyway) There are some good games on Rivalry Thursday from WVLT out of Knoxville. They stream the games also.

Some better options than the ones listed.  The smaller venues make things exciting a lot of the times.

that schedule looks pretty lackluster, compared to some of the match ups when have in the city.

I don’t mind one bit.  If there were a way I could DVR the East Side games, I would.  I DVR the games here and usually watch them when I get up on Saturday.  I’m thinking this year I’ll wait to watch them next summer so I have something to watch that will satisfy my Friday Night Lights fix.

I was surprised by the teams/games they have chosen.  I did notice a lack of private schools this year.  I don’t know the schedule but I’m guessing if MBA, CPA, BA and Ensworth play each other in the last weeks that that game will be featured.

 

I also enjoy a good smaller school game. Let’s you see the community involvement.
