I think the only year Dresser played you guys in HS was his freshman year. Which we lost by a blocked extra point. He was undefeated in Middle school against Huntingdon. But that was a long time ago.

Ah, I'm looking forward to seeing how our line goes. I'd be ecstatic if we could get a 2nd round win. You never know though

I think Westview is also getting kids to come back that would've gone to Dresden the past few years. That's a difference there itself

Im also wanting to see how our defense looks. Coach Larry went back to Florida and I heard we hired Westviews former coach Cantrell as our DC.

Dresser was probably the best middle school QB I've ever seen. Mustangs beat you 28-27 in 2013. Beat yall 34-6 in 2014 last time we've played. If I remember correctly the Mustangs controlled the ball on the ground with some almost quarter long drives in 2014. Kept Dresser off the field which was the only way we were going to win that game.

Huntingdon does play a really tough non region schedule. Waverly who was a passing team lost to 2a state champs Peabody in some of the worst conditions possible in a game that could have gone either way, until late. Huntingdon controlled the Waverly game. Milan lost in the playoffs to an very good Covington team who went on and almost shocked the world against Alcoa. Side note... Huntingdon has dominated Covington the past 2 years in some of the hardest hitting scrimmages I’ve ever seen. Yeah, yeah, scrimmages don’t matter. This could get interesting with this crop of 3 year starters back.

The Oliver kid that has played QB at Dresden Middle the last two years is no slouch. He’s a heck of a athlete.

Agree. With what Huntingdon returns they are my pick to win it all. They was the fastest team we faced last year. Need to get the ball outside in open field though. I just wished we had half their athletes with our staff.

They just have to get #7 the ball more in open space. He'll make the their coaches look like geniuses.

It may take a while, but I think that this coach that you have will be a good one, and maybe better than that. His background and the amount of respect from people "in the know" regarding coaching and up and coming coaches in the area couldn't be much better.

toughest quarterback? I saw him against cornersville last year half way through the game he was sliding before getting hit and diving for the sidelines trying to avoid getting hit. Not even close to the toughest quarterback. I'd rather have Snyder.
