Any teams surprise during summer?

Nah, he has a long way to go...soft touch though but doesn't like to post much and primarily wants to be a jump shooter. He's got some stuff you like, obviously him being 6'10 but simply put, he's not that good yet.

He has a LONG way to go. Running the floor and blocking shots are his main tools right now. With some development and some weights, he could go higher than low level D1, but as of right now, that's the level I project him.

From Jackson Southside to Memphis East... That is very rare. Not sure that has happened before. gotta be more to this story. Coach Fuller at Southside been doing this too long and has put too many kids in college and helped kids make a living hooping.

D1 projection for a rising sophomore is great

Not sure. Good question. I saw them twice and he did play alot for them those 2 games but not sure about the rest of the season.

Oh okay. He probably searching for something, playing time, chance to play on better team or whatever  but East may not necessarily be the spot for him either. He would be of bigger need for SouthSide than East but I know it goes, kids and parents get impatient and want it now. I hope it works out for him.

Yeah the thing is, Southisde went to Semi finals of region last year and were bringing everybody back. They didn't graduate anybody so they gonna be really good

They were pretty good last year but every year is different. If they can play well this year..they may have a shot at sub state game again.

No it should be a easy ride for SouthSide

Yep!!! I think  they need to play a Memphis team or 2 to get them prepared for post season though so they can no what to expect. They ran into Gipson and didn't know how to respond last year.
