I don't like to bet against a team I'm pulling for to win BC. If Alcoa goes there and wins I'll be happy. If Maryville gets by Oakland in the playoffs I'll be happier.

That would be nice, when one team starts to dominate it really starts to hurt the game and people quit going when things are predictable. That's what 6 classifications have caused.

Just hope we don't go there looking forward and them boys start smelling those grilled hamburgers WB is famous for and get lazy.

State titles 20 years ago really aren't relevant to this years playoffs. If you remember two years ago when PC fans were doing all that talking saying Alcoa was worried about PC, mid TN people were acting like PC was 78 Steelers, then PC doesn't even make it to Cookeville and Blows a multi TD lead a home in the semis on top of that.... I said I was gonna remember and I did. LOL

FB80, you've always been cool. You even got back on the T after the loss and answered the bell like a man.  But after all that nonsense from my middle TN friends about how great that PC team was, I'm gonna call them out on it for a while.

I'll also give credit where its due, PC at least doesn't run from teams. They'll schedule anybody.

You compared PC to Mt juliet and that's my problem with your statement. So Alcoa don't count championship from 15 years? I'm sure they do! If you wanna be honest couple years ago, I felt like we could've beat y'all that year. But it wasn't in the cards for us and you're correct we blow that lead at home. But like I stated before we respect yall run, but you can't compare us with mt juliet come on now.

The PC team from 2 years ago would have destroyed Mt. Juliet. MJGOLDENSISSY and his home girl are the slawest of slaw dogs!!!

Hope I'm wrong, but replacing a large part of your team against Alcoa in the first game of the season is a tough climb. I hope they can stay at the level they have been, they are one of the few games on Oakland's schedule that won't involve the mercy rule

I'll give you that one brother. LOL.  PC has won a gold ball before and PC will schedule anyone. I'll give you guys some grief, but you're not scared and you don't run away. I respect that.

But You'll still hear from me occasionally about all the talk about the 2017 PC team. Two of my Mid TN friends especially catch it often.

      Unfortunately the Sweetwater thing spooked some principals and ADs looking for head coaches in this cycle, even though Caleb wasn't at fault in any way. He had multiple OC opportunities. Personally, I'm glad he chose Karns, given that my oldest grandson plays in their middle school program.  Caleb is a good coach and a class act. It's a win for Karns to get him.

      I was asked about this untrue speculation last night at our banquet(and several times over the last few weeks) which has been circulating on this website and through word of mouth. I am not taking the Rockvale job, nor have I even interviewed for that job or ANY other job since coming to Tullahoma. I have no desire to leave Tullahoma, my family and I love it here. We are committed to building our Lady Cats basketball program. I wanted to make sure our players, parents and stakeholders didn't get mixed messages from what I have continued  to communicate from day one and the untrue speculations of me leaving.  Coach Hibdon As stated above and I will add for clarification. This includes Blackman, we have no desire to leave Tullahoma, go back to Rutherford Co (even Blackman) or ANYWHERE else. There has been speculation from day 1 that I may be leaving for another job particularly RuCo and I have had to address the speculations many times. So I felt it necessary to make a statement for the basketball community and mostly our Ttown community to hear my commitment again amongst these constant rumors. We love this community, love living by the lake and no desire to move our 3rd grader and 6th grader from this school system. I wanted to make these statements for all those who are invested and interested in Lady Cats Basketball that my family and I are committed to being a part of Tullahoma High and the Tullahoma community for many years.
