I guess I have just never truly understood just how many kids move in there each year. I would have thought 90-95 percent of the football players were home grown kids. It’s a lucky problem for them to have for sure. If this is the case it makes me wonder how have they not won more state titles through the years with that many transfers. Let’s just be real, without the transfers it’s a different dynamic all together. Do you boys ever get transfer players that aren’t any good? LMBO

If they open the county it most def will go up!I know parents from all over Blount that want to send there kids to GB for high school and not just for football - just because.

Tanner Snyder is the qb for Lake County. I watched his West Carroll Highlights and he looked pretty good I guess. He is definitely a large framed kid. He seems to have really good receivers in will say that.

Bass may be ready to hand Greenback the state title but I'm sure not. They are going to have to prove it on the field. They very well may do that but I think 3 other schools are just as good or better than they are. Transfers are not.

We’re just an average team. I wouldn’t worry about GB. The focus is to beat the Pirates.

Old Pirate says Barney appears to mostly on target majority of the time. Now, jest talked with cousin Ned in south Knoxville and appears theys a hunt fer a stud RB to compliment the passing combinations!  Dad Burnit, figure them local programs best keep phones ready, eyes open and attach body guards to local RBs. Rumor is stud RB must be looking fer a better education! LOPAO....

OP I was reading in my Murphy Fair book and that Hunt man has this Hodge boy that is going to play for that Pruitt man.  He is a runner.  That Hunt man batter keep him under lock and key.   You think im joking but im not.

Attended lhat West Carroll game. Snyder for sure has a big arm. His long throws seemed to sail on him a bit. Throws the ball with a lot of velocity. He'll burn those hands.

I wouldn’t say hand it to them, but I think they are the front runner right now. The additions they got in the off season were all game changers. Their D1 prospects they already had on the team plus the addition of these other studs will make them very tough to handle.

Barney let me ask you a question. What is a durn D1? Does that mean they can play in the SEC? I looked all in my Murphy Fair book and didnt see this d1 mess.  You think im joking but im not.

Roy, D1 means upper echelon colleges. D1 doesn’t always mean they can play in the SEC, but a division 1 athlete around our area in 1A are few and far between.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
