I could go on and on, but really just don't see the big deal in Knox Powell. 

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suit. 

I said in the beginning that it wasn't really a major thing, but just something that those of us who actually live here get tired of hearing.  

It's just a matter of courtesy to get the name of anything correct.

It's just like I said, Stork - it's not a major thing, but something that people continue to do that just isn't accurate.  

Surely it's something you should understand.  It's simply about accuracy, which is important in the broadcast booth.

Powell is not "Knox" Powell.  Powell High is located in Powell, TN 37849, not in Knoxville.  

It's just plain Powell High School.  

Oh no HTV I have made that mistake too. It must have at one time been Knox Powell maybe. But raised in CC all my life thought it was Knox Powell. Maybe incorporated changed not sure. Lol

Both those Science Hill games are going to be ugly.  Science Hill is way down this year, Crockett has their best team ever, and Greeneville is still Greeneville.

Volunteer at Cherokee's also going to be a blowout.  By all accounts I'm hearing, Volunteer's even worse than last year and Cherokee's improved a lot.

      I used to think like that many many moons ago.  I wondered the same questions but learned that it is just not that easy.  Hiring assistant coaches can be complicated at times.  It takes a few years for HC’s to get who they feel is right for their system.  Couple that with good assistant coaches getting better jobs at times and leaving your program. More to it than some think.  I think you have a good coach up there and time will tell that story.

      You’re right, I shouldn’t jump the gun on it. Hopefully it isn’t related to the sports programs, because it’ll end up affecting a lot of innocent kids who just enjoy playing sports.

      I totally agree but just don’t want to see people jumping the gun by insinuating it was for athletic reasons. Nobody knows at the moment except for those involved in the incident itself and those investigating.
