NHSCA FALL BRAWL

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2019

LOCATION: HARPETH HIGH SCHOOL

170 EAST KINGSTON SPRINGS RD

KINGSTON SPRINGS, TN 37082

WEIGH-IN:            7:00 A.M.-8:00 A.M.

                                                                                                                     WRESTLING:                   9:30 A.M.

ENTRY FEE:            $25.00 PER WRESTLER:

ALL WRESTLER INFORMATION MUST BE EMAILED IN ADVANCE OF REGISTRATION

MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: HARPETH TAKEDOWN CLUB

PERIODS: 2:1:1 (College out of Bounds Rules)

WRESTLERS WILL BE GROUPED BY WEIGHT

DIVISIONS:

ELEMENTARY

MIDDLE SCHOOL

HIGH SCHOOL

Coaches,

Please let your guys know that Friday is the final day I will accept pre-registration. There will be no walk-ups on Saturday morning. Please tell them to have their registration forms filled out in advance. It helps us tremendously that morning with long lines. 

We will run the tournament on 3 mats so that we can get everyone out and enjoy the day. If your wrestlers need a registration form, have them go to Trackwrestling  and print the form from there. If you have any other questions, email me at ricky.woods@ccstn.org

      The New Word of the Day at Maryville High is Tuition.  Everytime the superintendent hears about the yellow paint on the football field he gets Tuition he could stick that can of paint up someone's behind.

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
