You didnt get the best from catholic lol. Stay far far away from. They would smack Alcoa back to the 80s.

Catholic got manhandled by Alcoa last yr. Eli Mitchell and Brackston Alford are at least as effective in HS as the two big guys from Catholic (saw them head to head last yr and don't remember eli or Brack not winning their 1 on 1s v the irish), id take Grey Carroll over  their star DL. (I admit I'm biased about our kids)  Sankey is as good if not better than their RB. We have them on quality depth.

Seems like there was a game since then? You guys dont like to talk about the fact you were a blown call away from getting sent back home with your tail between your legs huh?

More like............Came to your crap field and BEAT ya by two TD's in your own backyard and left talking about the next GOLD Trophy!:thumb:

Try and make it back to the playoff's again. Please! See how that rematch in Alcoa goes. Them Bees will probably be too scared to get on the bus!!

upperman bees ?! :roflol:

hate seeing #1 holding a block and double teamed. He's a head hunter with speed! In the 3-4, move him to OLB!:thumb:

#15 maybe the best RB on the field in all games the F5 play in!

Not taking anything away from Alcoa but Catholic is a much improved team from last year since going full blooded private and bringing in a cash crop of new blood over the winter. Their dept still pushed Maryville back on the line of scrimmage. 3 of the Tennessee top ten players are from Catholic and they do dominate a game. I was very down hearted after that game until I watched us beat Oak Ridge 61-7 and Central 40-0 in a game that was called with ten minutes left in the 4th quarter due to an incoming storm. Always remember the difference between Catholic and public schools is the way they bring in players through free agency unlike us who develop our own.

Catholic better be improved. Alcoa scored 5 TD's on them in one quarter of play this time last season. Catholic pick up some great talent over the winter/summer. But, the line is still made up of the same players with Bryn Tucker, Cooper Mays and Tyler Barons being the top players. The same ones that Alcoa stood toe to toe with last year. Yes, they are a year older, But, so is Braxton Alford, Gray Carroll, Tristan Blankenship and the newest beast Lance William that destroyed West's SEC commit Tyrece Edwards.

    • Why would the tax payers be responsible for paying for only a coach? In recent years with all the theft from various programs in schools from different programs with booster clubs (not just sports) the State of TN has made alot of rules surrounding booster clubs and how they handle money.  I have two documents to review, 1 is 40 pages from the state comptroller and the other is 37 pages from my district, so I can consider starting a booster club for my middle school program. It has been too much trouble in the past for the other coaches.  There is no way there needs to be an adult in the school building for 7 hours a day with no responsibilities except coaching.
    • The only thing that was said at half time of the 45-0 game was Coach Story, he said: "I know y'all have been out there a lot, but kick-off team, y'all need to get down there faster!" Then he and the other coaches proceeded to go into the coaches office and we all went nuts!  It was the only time I can ever remember coaches not saying anything at half time. Definitely a great memory!!!
    • Boyd could actually be a grade below what he is now, but his parents didn't see the need to "redshirt" him like the other city school down the road would have pushed for....
