So who do we think are the contenders this year. I think FCS and DA will be very good. There is some good things I am hearing about MTCS if they can stay healthy. My hope is that my wildcats will bounce back from a horrific season and from what Ive seen and heard it looks like they will.  MJCA will be interesting to see how they recover from their key losses.

I think DA, USJ and Fayette Academy will dominate this side. NCS could make some noise but should finish 4th. Lots of balance at the top IMO. DA lost a lot on Offense but should have their best D yet under Quinn. I think Columbia Academy just lost too much to be a real factor this year.

Parents with unrealistic demands regarding playing time for their freshmen got recruited to JC and now their boys will see exactly zero PT as they are ineligible for this entire school year. No idea what promises were made to get them there, but hopefully it includes cutting a check to USJ for the tuition they owed under contract. For the record, they are both good players with tons of potential moving forward, but their loss has no bearing on this season.

So what you're saying is these kids parents didn't have connections to the right booster who could influence playing time?

The wind is blowing and that bush is shaking.

Word has it is that they are going to "Lectrify" that fence and ad some barbed wire around the top as well. They are also going to start calling their campus, "The Compound"!

Stormy weather be shaking that bush boss!

Alright, hyenas. Have to admit a lot of this is deserved, but....be careful what you wish for... =)

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
