Sorry guys, I am just no longer going to buy the "first game jitters".     This looks like a bunch of 4th grade soccer guys playing their first football game.     What part of "Okay, lets run X37, snap on 3" are they not getting???

Congrats to Powell but Greeneville needed this game. This team has a lot of talent and had every chance to win this game. The big picture is still in play and we grew up tonight.

Our coaches Scheduled this game for a reason and we know now where we are. All the preseason Scrimmage stuff is junk. This was a different Greeneville team than the scrimmages.

Powell I’ll be cheering you guys on the rest of the year. Go Mercy Rule Anderson County next week!

My "4th grade soccer guys" comment was leveled at BOTH teams, not just Greeneville.     All 4 lines are very undisciplined.

LOL you want bw hearing too much from Greeneville faithful

Ac doesn’t deserve the right to talk any trash toward Greeneville. We lost by 2 points to a very good powell team who should do very well this year.

Ac better worry about Clinton because I promise you Powell is gonna leave no doubt against the cows

I hate to say "I told you so" but........

Very good Close game that could have went either way at the end. Our kids needed this game to get better and find just where we are at. No reason that Greeneville wont be in Cookeville playing for another title this year. Just ask the 2011 team. 14-1 and another title

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
