PatriotNation
Next Friday night is round 3 of HC/Haywood! The last two games these teams have played against one another has been great close games with last season being a TD for HC in the closing seconds of the game to secure the win! 2 years ago Haywood beat HC 14-12, last year HC beat Haywood 29-26! Giving HC the edge 41-40 the last 2 years combined! Expect more of the same from these two great football teams! Haywood is the 4A runner up from last season and HC is the 5A runner up from last season! Should be a wail of a game! What are your thoughts? A new season is upon us and as you all know, ITS FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!!!!!!!!!! Edited August 17, 2019 by PatriotNation
Kevin38
This should be a good one, both teams lost a lot from last year due to graduation, but seem to have just reloaded, really not sure who to pick but am betting on it being another good game going down to the last few minutes.....

I agree. They have a new coach and always have athletes on the field. I don’t think I can make it but am going to try.
reddyrebel6
These two top notch coaches and their staffs know each other and their programs very well. Let the annual chess match begin. Not one for predicting, other than to say I feel like it will come down to the wire one way or the other. I expect a game very similar to the ones between Germantown and HC the past two years. If you love high school football, this is must see. I respect PatriotsNations' opinion as he is always spot on. I think he would agree that freshman qb is going to get a baptism by fire. On the other side, Haywood is also talented but inexperienced. Turnovers will be the difference. PS - I think this would be an even greater game in say Week 6. Edited August 18, 2019 by reddyrebel6

Hoping the running game is stout enough against Haywood that we wont have to pass a lot! We have 4 RB's that can break loose at any moment! We will see how good the Haywood defense is. Hopefully he can make enough connections to keep them honest, and we can pound on them with our 4 backs and shorten the game.

I have seen enough from the QB that if they do stack the box we may get a quick strike TD pass!
