The hype for this game makes it feel like we are back in the late 80’s and early 90’s when this game was at its peak...

I’m going with the Big Blue...just because!!

Either way Its great to see both teams rejuvenated!

Be careful. GWave and thegreatone already talk about the old days nonstop

Gallatin is more relevant now that Lebanon has ever thought about being. I will definitely give you that.

I seen both teams play several times last year. Lebanon was easily better than Gallatin last year.

They had 3 like opponents. Mt. Juliet stole Gallatin's lunch money 49-3 and barely beat Lebanon by 4. Station Camp beat Gallatin and got blown out by Lebanon 42-0. Wilson Central lost to Gallatin by 7 and to Lebanon by 21.

The same thing the season before with Lebanon beating a Hendersonville team that beat by Gallatin by 21.

Its been a few years since these teams played. These aren't the same Lebanon Blue Devils they will come ready to play. This team is younger than the last two seasons so who knows if it will make a difference this year. But don't expect to circle this as a win.

I agree.  This ought to be a slugfest.  I have said earlier Gallatin could go 1-3 to start the season and I would still say this team is better than last year.  I really like Gentry and the job he has done at Lebanon.  He has turned the Blue Devils around in a few short years to respectability.  Watson is trying to do the same thing with a program that had not fallen as far as Lebanon.  This should be a really good test for both squads.   Really impressed with the strides the running game at Lebanon has made in short order.  I am just hoping for good weather and a huge crowd for this opener.
