And I agree with your point about McCallister doing it all and staying healthy, but he won’t need to do that the whole season, just will on Thursday night to beat Cookeville. Didn't know about the UHS kicker. My point was being the team with more outside talent, plus more depth, has many more option on special teams. I think this will be a great game. Why did they decide play it on a Thursday?

Admins wanted it to be the only game in town to be a bigger crowd. It’s being played at Tech and 4 different outlets are broadcasting it. Should be a great game and atmosphere. Never understood why UHS or CHS doesn't have a radio station broadcasting ever game like Livingston , cossville , Dekalb, Macon....

UCR has done some basketball and middle school stuff really nicely, but I think this is their first HS Football one. Should be interesting. Also Cookeville does have their football games on radio, but I can’t remember their station and 94.1 FM radio is doing their first game on the audio side. ChineseFlu
I think Cookeville will put them away by half. Upperman lost the player that gave them 2400 yards rushing and I think 40 something TD's. They had no major injuries last year. In other words the stars aligned. That won't happen this year. Upperman fans need to be happy with 6-4 or 7-3. Edited August 22, 2019 by dragonrider gr
