that Ex Irish DC, along with another 1 or 2 ex Irish staffers, r bringin their Harrison Purple Pounders to Vermont Ave on Friday for round 2......in round 1 last year gainst his former boss, them folks up on 58 let the Irish roll into Harrison and put up 60+ on the board ......tho that Jones and those other ex ND coaches did put 30 on the board with their first season at tryin to run that single wing that borrowed from that Jags feller.....

......gonna be intrestin to see how this thing shakes out over on Vermont Ave for the season opener.....not expectin the Irish to put up another 60+ on Harrison in round 2....the Irish lost a lot of hosses in that backfield and r way down in numbers.....besides that Jones feller is in his 2nd season of his 2nd trip at the helm of Harrison High.....and expectin that squad of his to be much improved.....tho word is Harrison has bailed on that Jags Single Wing after only one season

.....Booger bettin that Jones feller were down at Finley Saturday night when them Owls of Ooldewah's only success at movin the ball gainst the Irish were 2 long balls for TDs......that Irish defensive back end better b for doin a little extra work on that this week....or Harrison High might just come over to Vermont Ave with a long ball and create a shocker

......watch out for those dirt baggers in the Irish trenches

The jags single wing experiment does appear to b a one and done deal

Interesting. Usually it takes at least 2 seasons to orient yourself to that style of offense. Honestly I think their problems was getting a snap off last year not the offense itself. What style of offense are they running now and are they getting the snap off?

I don’t think either of these two teams are as good as they were a year ago. That being said ND has to be the favorite.

I've seen both teams and if Central hits ND on those "big plays" this game could be interesting. Still going with ND (at home) by 7 points.

Rams get a "bye" this week host Central next Friday. Booger, tell your boys to lay the wood on them and soften them Pounders!!(lol)

Donka TRF...it wernt all pretty...but its a W....

...the Irishmen from Vermont Ave came out like gang busters in that first half...Harrison had absolutely no answer for the Jags Single Wing......even tho sum of its staff got SW knowledge from they past days on that ND staff.....still couldnt stop it.....then the high humidity and absence of pickled cucumbers and the juice they float in tooks it toll on the boys in the 2nd.....specially the bigs in the trenches......Irishmen were droppin like leaves on a fall day with muscle seazhers in them lower extremeties....we had so many on the ground with legs up in the air at moment in time....look like a lamaze class...the Nuns had to come out on the field to pitch in on de-crampin duties cause we were outta leg stretcher people.....

....that Harrison coach made an adjustment at half time by stackin his LBs up on the line..and that siezed up our scorin a bit...especially once we had to replace our line & backfield with sum youngins...cause a herd of starters were on the sideline searchin for pedialite.....and Harrison started relyin heavy on the passin game due to lack of abilty to run much.....and it was workin for them....but penaltys really shot them in the feet.....we lost a good DB in the 1st half to a bad knee injury and they made sure they aimed that passin at his replacement in the 2nd.....Harrisn got some good athletes.....thinkin that Harrison gonna b OK rest of the season

...Fant better b for gettin these boys in shape and keepin them better hydronated durin the week or this crampin thing gonna bite him in the Hillary...they ant enuff Irishmen dressed out to b doin this mess

Why are the numbers so low for ND? Had maybe 30 kids. 2nd half it showed.

the riggerous demands of bein an Irishman, high classroom standards and a case of butthurt at the lower catholic football program and the loss of a former ND alum that was runnin our middle league team gold football program over at Vermont ave over to hwy 58

...Booger will tell Sparty what showed......Cramps, Cramps and more Cramps and no experience to back the crampers up while they were all  lyin on the sideline

....and Sparty right bout the Irish not bein what they were last year....but thats still good nuff to b picked top of the region and Spartys Haslam School of Knoxville
