Of course I have surpassed the number of articles I can view on The Tennessean, but I get the idea from the headline.  Sad Nashville is changing. Unfortunately, things like this are the byproduct of growth. Nashville is desperately trying to ruin the very thing people find appealing. Small town feel, with big city attributes. They are pushing growth that will only make them like every other “big city”.

Hope no one was hurt.

Nashville has sold it soul. Gangs will continue to grow. Nashville metro police are unable to keep people safe. Crime stats underreported in metro so not to scare people from coming to Davidson county. Has Davidson county elected a new mayor yet? Will they try to make changes to curb gangs and crime?                       This is coming to Knoxville unless new government and Knoxville police are given more power to keep law abiding citizens safe.

The current knoxville City mayor is on her way out thankfully.  She has never been a very big supporter of the KPD and hampered them every chance she could.  Hopefully the new city mayor supports the police and gives them the authority to properly do their jobs.

Nashville sold their soul years ago when they started chasing pro sports teams.  They are trying to be like Atlanta IMO.  I lived in Nashville for a short time, and glad I left when I did.  No desire to go back.
