Glencliff 0-1 at White House 1-0

Homecoming 2019 has arrived in BDP country. Glencliff was down 66-0 at the half last night to Lipscomb Academy. WH has to play sharp and locked in and should move to 2-0 heading into the bye week. 

 

Congrats Coach Hamilton on his first career win as a head coach! The first of many! BDP!!

Yeah not even gonna go to this one honestly.  This team needs to be off our schedule.  Congrats to coach hammy though!! Thought we could’ve played better, but a W is a W.  Go BDP!

I agree, but have you watched this team play? Plus my little bro plays for East Robertson so I’m gonna go support them.

It's hard to believe that Glencliff was playing in the Class 5A Blue Cross Bowl (then the largest class statewide) 20 years ago (1999).  That program has completely hit rock bottom.

The  school population at Glencliff is nowhere  near what  it was in 1999. The  one area they got consistent athletes from got rezoned. Haven't had  a winning season since.

In 2011 they were 6-4 under Coach Easley.  They were 5-5 in 2003 and 2009.  They made the playoffs in each of those seasons.  Their region is very top heavy with Gallatin, Beech, and Hillsboro all being strong in 5A.  With a couple of athletes they could compete with Hunters Lane and/or Hillwood.

Back in the 60’s Glencliff was as good and tough as any team

Tbh the last couple years they’ve had some decent players out there, they’re just completely disorganized. There was 3 or 4 plays in a row last year where they didn’t even have 11 players on the field.  I had to get up and leave after that.  Just hoping for no injuries tomorrow night.
