Thought GC played 10 times better handling the pressure against a team that is probably quicker across the board than Greenfield. South Side did lose a couple of good ones but they are good. Yes they beat GC and Summertown. Both games against GC and Summertown were dogfights and there were several lead changes and worth the price of admission to watch. GC and South Side is always a dogfight and an entertaining game. Big girl for South SIde went down with less than a minute left in what looked to be a knee injury. She is a really great player. Prayers to her!!

She is the MVP in West TN and maybe TN. Reason I say that she is so valuable to a team because she don't turn it over and she creates TO's. Darby's are great too but having a great PG goes a long way. Greenfield is really good. Congrats on a good win y day. GC and TCA are both good teams and they flexed up. Just shows that other teams have to match their intensity and poise to have a chance.

USJ played a tight zone and had them confused a little. Covington is a good team though. It is early. They played well this summer.

What time is the game? We play Westview after that. I hadn't looked at the time. Westview is the host team so that is the reason they play last I assume.

They may. They may not. South Side didn't and they beat Summertown. Boy it kills Greenfield fans and their coach they didn't win it last year and even after Loretto beat them they called Loretto's coach and tried to give them a road map to beat GC. And that is a fact!!!! Be cocky and disrespectful all you want this year but what comes around goes around. Your coach better start recruiting because this is Greenfield's last hoorah and I am still not so sure you win it this year!!

Help me understand. In one post you say let Greenfield fans enjoy this team and leave them alone BUT in another post you say how bad Westview is going to kill GC,  who is the defending state champ by the way.  Another poster says he saw some not passing to an open player. You tell them don’t go there. So it is ok for you to state your opinion but if somebody else does you get all upset. Coacht is about fans interacting with each other and that includes trash talking but people get upset and their feelings get hurt when some posters state their opinion.

I’ll be pulling for Gibson County. I did last year but Westview will win by 20 this year like Gibson did last year. Just my opinion. Gibson County will be much better by tournament time.

I will say this. Greenfieldfan is the only Greenfield Fan that has congratulated me since we won the state and that statement he made above is his opinion but it is very disrespectful and not like something he would say. He seen us play as poorly as we ever have but he didn't see us play last night. Greenfield or Dresden or whoever we are playing I will not disrespect. I pull for whoever is at state from West TN if they are not playing us. Dresden, Westview Greenfield whoever. We play Dresden Tuesday Night in what could be a preview game of who goes to Murfreesboro later on in possibly a region showdown no disrespect to Gleason or UC because they are good too. Will be a very interesting game. I expect another war with Dresden. Even though they lost to Loretto they have a lot of talent especially in Childress and Wynn. Right now I would call it a pick em. They are always well prepared and play us very hard.
