BVD, seriously man, you can tell the Devils to relax, they have this one won just by virtue of showing up.   In fact, as mentioned in a previous thread, I would rest the starters in this game, send them to watch South or Science Hill, tell them it is much more beneficial for the players to do the scouting instead of just the coaches.   Just bring your 2's and 3's to Gray..... come on, it's just Boone...

BVD - Forgot to add this..... the last 3 Boone/Greeneville games have been won by the Devils 120-21, and Boone's 21 were junk points scored late in the 4th.     Don't waste your 1's time coming to Gray, there will be a  very good Crockett/Science Hill game in Jonesborough they can go to.

That Crockett/SH game turned into a nightmare rather quickly, unless you were a Pioneer fan!    Who would have ever seen that one coming??               We were just totally outmanned against Greeneville, especially our O vs. their D because they knew that 9 times out of 10 #4 would be running the ball.      I'll come watch you guys in the playoffs, and probably the Elizabethton game, if you have room in the stands to let a Blazer squeeze in.....

BVD.Well I know what the "V" stands for and today has to be one of the lowest in history for Tennessee football. I hope you didn't break anything watching todays game .I remember when we both took a VOL loss really hard but I can't remember one that was this low for the program.I guess we always can think back to watching Peyton win at Alabama and the Alabama fan getting his pretty Bama shirt hit with the  mustard in front of us. OR that great come back in 98 against Arkansas.Today I'm just glad I didn't spend money to sit in Neyland for that ….I wouldn't even call it a football game.To think the money some of these coaches get for WHAT ?

i havent talked to cade or caine since he left. i will soon, once they get well into the season, but i would imagine hes not playing much if any at all in the games or the one game theyve played because i looked at their two deep roster and the only two freshman on it were both specialists...one punter one kicker

    • Agree. The man literally sacrificed time, moments, memories you can't get back with his own family for every single athlete at that school. (and many others) To those that continue to be negative about him and continue to bring him up; He's been loyal, hardworking and just his entire coaching career. Ask anyone that actually has a leg to stand on in regard to Coach.
    • Egotistical? That's a new one.  It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.

    • Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out, you don’t wanna go to the grave with that on your heart.
    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
