A few thoughts about this series:

• Elizabethton leads the series 31-2
• Boone won in 2005 and 2012
• Elizabethton won in 1972-2018 with the above exceptions (i.e., flukes)
• Most of Elizabethton's wins have been rather lopsided, avg margin of victory is 22+ points
• But despite all of this rather dismal series history, we are going to march into Citizens Bank Stadium on Friday night and put a whoopin on those Cyclones.    Oh yeah, Boone is coming for you.   We are leaving the starters in the entire game and running up the score as high as it will go.    They will rename the stadium to BDBH (Blazers Done Been Here).    Meanwhile, back on planet Earth....  *sigh* .....    another year, another game with Elizabethton, another blowout loss to the Cyclones ....   Can somebody tell me why we keep scheduling you guys?!?     Heck let's just put Maryville and Alcoa on the books for next year, or how about going down to play that Hoover team in Birmingham AL....   *sigh* ......

He’s going to be out for 6 weeks should be 5 now.

Cole might be back for the last 3 games, the 3 C's (Cocke Co., Crockett, Cherokee).   Unfortunately we will be 1-6 at that point.   No way we beat Crockett, Cherokee is looking very good this year, Cocke Co. is a tossup.      R1/5A will be between Crockett and Tenn High this year, but Cherokee could mess that up a little.
