Boone drives takes advantage of a unsportsmanlike penalty against EHS to out them in goal situation. Runs it in but missed Pat makes it 13-6 5 left in first half. 

Even without Cole the run game is pretty solid

A quick 3 downs forces Boone to a FG. Heavy wind. Fg good. Ehs 14-9 1:24 left in half

Maupin carries for 80 yards. TD! 21-9 1:10 left on half. Boone students were chanting DB reject at him before game. They are silent now

First half take away

Boone has a decent run game despite losing cole. They are mismatched against our secondary so passing has been nearly negated. Their run game and cyclone mistakes are keeping them in it. 

Elizabethton needs to tighten up on punt return. Two muffs have allowed Boone to get 2 fgs in redzone territory. Our run game is dangerous if we can get an open lane and our wide outs are much larger than Boones secondary. EHS needs to open up the pass a little more to allow Maupin the chance to pick apart the run game
