But just Like Grace back in the day,we all called them out for cheating, didn't really have any evidence but common sense told us ,they swore until the bitter end they were legal., Didn't turn out they were being to honest. I'l also say they got by cheap. The one they got caught for was NOT  their only infraction.

Totally different circumstances. You know enough to know that.

An Elder coach just assisting his son people should really lay off... Every program has the fluctuations of good years and bad years dont blame a man that probably won you more games than anyone in history combined.

Yes sir, unfortunately when your up you're cheating somehow and when your down time to fire the whole staff including the water boy lol. To much instant gratification now days.

I know absolutely nothing. Just think its a little crazy when people relocate and move for their kids to change schools for one or 2 years, thats fishy. I'm sure it could happen in an isolated case but not in bunches, Thats just hard to fathom.

I agree, I would not move for that reason myself but if you choose to do it then it is your right. Also now days is different than in the past. SROs make multiple visits to new address and there are layers of checks to try to make sure everything is on the up and up. Personally I feel if a school is open zoned you should be able to send your child anywhere you want. Heck if my step son wanted to go to Hampton and I was willing to provide his transportation to and from school why shouldn't he be able to go? So long as they're open zoned and they accept him it's up to me to get him there and back every day even if we stayed in oneida. Never know that might be the closest school I was comfortable with him attending. Plenty of reasons for a parent to want their kid to go to a particular school, so long as the rules are followed it should be their choice.

Actually rules should be whatever is the best for anyone's kids. Might should be some sort of multiplier if certain schools thrive off of it. But in my mind any kid should be able to play anywhere they choose.

    • From my understanding, Jay Graham pretty much took over HC responsibilities in that game, so you can thank him. Cute Andy didn’t need help, though. Cute Andy could’ve beaten us without any assistant coaches.
    • Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
    • This will get coaches leaving the profession very quickly if this kid wins this case. This is absurd...
    • yeah money aint right there anymore
