This game is the key for Gate City's season, they have two top 10 2A opponents in Virginia the next two weeks after this (Union and Ridgeview) so it is imperative that GC wins this game to set up the latter half of their season, South always is always physical and tough minded, this will be a great game! PS if you have never seen Trenton Atkins play for Ridgeview make the trip to Southwest Virginia to see him, he ain't D1 for nothing!

Thanks for the reply !!   Yes I think it is key game for South as well.  We have a really tough schedule this year  , big mix of young skill positions with a older line.  I think it is starting to come together for our group.

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
