I wasn't going to create a thread for this game since no one else did but I want to give a shout out to the Sequatchie Middle School a 22-8 win at Jasper last night.

20-14 half SC. Hixson has some quick athletes and they’ve made plays. Seq has some athletes too, running well including a 90 yard TD run.

No second half at Hixson. Lights blew on the home side and never came back on. Even if they had not or somehow came back on it looked as if another weather delay would have been coming. Lightning when both teams were on the field for the opening kickoff 2 hours before that. Seq ran the ball well but had a bad special teams play that helped Hixson get back in it. Late score in the second quarter, driving 70 yards in a couple of minutes was the difference between a tie and a win.

This was the weirdest game I've ever been at and I've been to pretty much every Sequatchie game the last 25 years.

Squatch co dominated as usual, no surprise there. I would have been at the game, but Shelia got locked up again.

Sounds like the wiring for those lights must have been done by an upperman graduate. Sickening.
