Idk what game you went to, but the stands were packed last year.  Other than the Portland game it was the biggest crowd all year

I agree with the crowd size. I’m more or less referring to the level of competion when both sides are mid state powerhouses. Its been a LONG time since both teams were two of the best around on a consistent basis. It’s been more or less one sided lately......

Idk you tell me why you’re jealous lol I’m not in your head dude.

I would discredit what you said by giving you specific names and numbers of kids who are both athletic and physical, but it would be pointless because you haven’t been to a game so you wouldn’t know who am I’m even talking about. Basically we can’t have an argument because you have no clue, you’re gonna always say something negative about White House and pick against us no matter what.  You need to send your buddy on here so he can actually talk about what he saw.

You believe what you want to believe and I will do the same, until I see something to convince me otherwise.

Y’all played station camp too, glencliff is the worst team I’ve ever seen you’re right on that one, and tbh hunters lane didn’t look bad to me.  I’m honestly really surprised sycamore beat them.

Im ok with one  nonregion cupcake. Jackets usually playing tough non region games.

BDP would probably have them offensive weapons at Heritage if that school didn’t exist. Heritage being built played some role in WH not where they want to be. I hear the area near Heritage is going to be growing in the future. Could make it even worse for BDP unless that side of 31 W grows.

Yeah we’d have those kids, but we’d also be in 6A.  We’d be good, but i still don’t see us beating teams like Maryville or the Rutherford county schools.  That’s a what if that'll never happen though.  And yes there’s actually another pretty big neighborhood about to be built on that side of town and they’ve already built 3 or 4 new apartment complexes relatively recently that are zoned for heritage too.  They’re gonna keep getting bigger

I agree.  I wish our non region was tougher too, but I don’t really think getting waxed in week 1 is that impressive either.

True......but getting waxed in week 5 isn’t either........just sayin :bored:you play who you play true. Does a tough non-region schedule help? Of course. We can play the cupcake game all week, the proof will show up Friday night.

I think it does help some to see competition that’s way better than anyone else you’ll face the rest of the year.  Y’all are favored and you should be, but I think this one will be a lot closer this year.   I really really feel like this WH team could be good, they just haven’t really proven it yet.  Like you said we’ll see what happens Friday night.

To be fair, I haven’t seen White House play this season, but I have seen Springfield play. They are fast! Yes they graduated a lot of last year’s team, but Dustin Wilson still has plenty of talent left. Good programs don’t rebuild they reload. Springfield is 3-1 with a Loss the first game of the season to a undefeated Wilson Central squad.

Springfield plays 2 Quarterbacks, #7 & #5. The #7 is the passer & their #5 is the running QB. They also have a good RB in #9. I was at the WH Heritage game in Springfield. Heritage went toe to toe with the Yellow Jackets. Springfield Won that brawl 42-41. If you’re going to beat the Yellowjackets you better contain their speed.

Prediction:

Springfield 31

White House 21

    • Ouch! If he's in the scrap business maybe
    • That's a nice story but has little to nothing to do with what we're talking about.
    • The winds of change are blowing in Hartsville.     Will be an interesting follow.    Would go back to the 90s and turn black the clock!
    • Did he promise you a coordinator job or something if he ever got a head coaching job? He resigned? He was at the top of the dugout last night calling plays. I wonder if those 30+ parents would let him give their kids a ride. by the way the board meeting was last night and it was not mentioned. must have been at the work session earlier this week which is not public. must be trying to keep it quiet.  Since you know so much, how much is Robbie Atwood willing to pay Adam Cothron?  Didn't you slander Eden earlier on here? You also didn't know he was a faculty coach again so how much do you really know? Some people outside this county baffle me with their need to slander others.
    • He resigned smh, and have you ever heard of charged but not convicted. Some people in this county baffle me with their need to slander others. Have you asked any of the 30+ parents that signed a petition to get him reinstated at the board meeting this week how they feel about this? Just let it play out, at the end of the day the only people that will bring TC back are the ones that know what its about at its core.    People hate losing and they aren't used to it at TC. I for 1, and I'm sure others too, understand having a dip in talent and not being able to compete for a state title every year. But in the past, TC teams have outworked more talented teams, they didn't continuously lose the turnover battle, they didn't commit 8+ penalties in several games each season, and I believe several of the folks in town that want Blake out feel as if he is neglecting the history of the program. This is from a source that used to be extremely close to the program (not me lol), Blake gets out of school midday and the players show up and there is no practice plan or itinerary.  I also understand those that are on team Blake, when he has loads of talent, he wins. He does know football and he is a tremendous DC, and if the rumors are true then he will do great things. As for the board member issue, it is what it is, everyone that's true to the county know that and nothing has changed. I agree though that they should strive to make the facilities as good as we can. And as far as potential candidates, I agree there is very few options. West, Vetetoe (yes I know), and couple others that could have some interest. Whatever happens is massive for the program during a pivotal time before the next big wave of stars make their way through.
