Sequoyah vs. Hixson, battle of the winless!

Just by seeing Seuoyah play, I would say Hixon wins. It's hard to tell though since neither has played a common opponent.

Coach Murray picks up his 1st win as a Head Football Coach this week.  Book It!  Sequoyah lost literally everyone from last years team that was decent and Hixson has just about everybody back and appears to be improving.  The spread looks to be much better suited to the current athletes that they have available.  If Hixson's linemen can read up to the second level consistently creating a little extra room for the backs to wiggle through not only will Hixson get their first win in 3 years they may even get their first running clock in who knows how long.  Cant wait to see if it turns out like I'm predicting it.

Turn the lights out and play man hunt. Lights don't work anyway and man hunt would be more entertaining than either team could put on the field.

It looked like Sequoyah had a small army Friday night (around 80 kids). Hard to believe there is not enough talent in that group to be competitive.

Sequoyah did go all out when they hired a middle school coach from a little Christian school in Knoxville. I guess he will learn along with the team he is trying to coach.

Until football is made a priority at Sequoyah they will continue to field bad teams.

The game wasn't that close really.  Hixson passed a BUNCH, too.  Surprised at that really.
