UC coming off back to back tough losses. Can they turn it around against a Peabody team that has cruised through the mid way point of the season thus far? I believe Peabody to be too much for the Tornadoes in this one.

Unfortunately for the Tornadoes this is a match up where our strengths are their weaknesses !

The only thing I can say for sure is that there will be a game this Friday at War Memorial Stadium in UC and my Tornadoes will be playing in it. Thank you.

What did you think about south side ?  They played horrible against usj but they played much better against us.

We have lots of respect for you guys in Trenton.

Yeah we do, last year when we went to UC even leading at half by as much as we were. I was nervous you guys would come back and beat us still. Midway through the 4th I finally relaxed lol.

Every school has "one of those years" and it seems UC isn't immune to it themselves. I'm hearing lower numbers than usual out in Union City..whats up with that? Y'all usually have a full sideline.  I couldn't help but notice Obion County runs basically the same offense as UC. Would that be affecting anything?

Man it's just tough to play at UC. The regimen is demanding. We have kids walking the halls that played football all the way through Jr High that just didn't want to go through the workouts that Bowling requires. He also doesn't play favorites. The best eleven are on the field. So some of these kids who grew up with their dad coaching them and got to play all the time. When they get to high school they must earn it. They don't want to have to do that. That's what I think is happening.

This always been a traditional knock out drag out game for both. If we overlook UC then they will nickel and dime us and keep the ball out of our hands

We have been successful in doing just that in every single game. The downfall has been FUMBLES. That has to stop. We can run up the stats on the ground but finishing a drive has been an issue. Our kids are tough. They don't quit. They just seem to find a way to hurt themselves. We have been a lot better than the last two teams we have played but we have killed ourselves with mistakes and turnovers.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
