He caught the first pass for a first down on our first drive - got up walking funny because of his back and never went back in.

Thanks man, I knew I didnt see him. Just missed him that catch. He really is a great reciever hope his back gets well. I know hes had alot of trouble out of it lately.

Don’t like a coach don’t like a school carried a grudge. It happens not so much cheating  I know of but ignoring calls or calling stuff that shouldn’t be called

I saw a white cap official kick a fumbled ball away one time due to the players charging towards him for the recovery. All due to the fact that he was too fat to get out of the way.

I don’t doubt it. I had one get in between me and the runner I was trying to tackle because he wasn’t paying attention or was to slow

I seen some pics of Swafford during the game kneeling near his sideline with blood on his arm, and another with him bending over with hands on his knees.  Anyone else see these?  I can’t remember where I seen them?  He is one tough young man.

Took some major hits during game. Also heard he had been sick all week and got a shot on Friday morning. Also was told by reliable that he was getting oxygen on the sideline. I watched him play as a soph against Rockwood  in playoffs when he tried to play through injury and took a beating.  Never saw him look as exhausted as last night. No excuses. SP did a great job of hitting him all night and executing game plan. From MC thanks for all nice comments about our team. We are very proud of ours as you should be of yours. Good luck

He was definitely sick, but it's part of the game. Had been sick all week. Hoped to be 100 % for the game but missed the mark I think. Regardless he played well considering.

A lot of things to consider in this game. First and foremost what a great atmosphere for these teams. Secondly that was two good teams last night. Third yes several things could have changed the outcome. Meigs could have converted a few fourth downs when they didn’t. If Meigs doesn’t throw the INT who knows. SP could also have easily taken a 3 touchdown lead right before the half. Lots of things could have changed the outcome in a lot of ways. Good luck the rest of the season to Meigs. Your team was as good as advertised.

After all the talk theres always an excuse! Sounded like a heck of a game. No reason to hang your head for Meigs!!! Much respect earned for MC and Swafford heck of a ball player!!!...much more for my unproven Pirates!!! Best of luck going forward for both teams!!! That a baby Pitt!!!! That a baby Pitt!!! That a baby Pitt!!!

No excuses just wish we had been some healthier. Despite our issues. We wouldn't have had an answer for what you brought. Just would have sustained drives easier I think. Not trying to degrade your win you all earned it.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
