Are you kidding!  ADMIN????  This guy has been given every thing he has asked for and demanded.  He has also had the best athletes to work with in 10 years or more.  The schedule was even watered down for him this year for non conference to rack up wins.  3 wins vs. bottom feeders. 

W-Coffee County 1-4  (42-20)

W-Rockvale 0-6 (58-47)

W-3A Grundy County 0-5 (35-8)

L-4A Tullahoma  4-2 (47-14)

L-5A Lincoln County 2-3 (24-13)

If he doesn't beat a very average Columbia team he goes 3-7 on the season.

Also heard that McCurry has already accepted a position to head back to Arkansas next year as an OC. Not as solid on that info but wouldn't doubt it.

 

So let me be the one to start the conversation, who is the FC Rebels head coach next season?

With Admin Support, could Franklin County can be a good job? Would they want someone with-in or outsider of the program. What does the Rebel Family want???

I have worked with him and he isn't hard to work for...all he wants is loyalty and a work ethic! Like many other things in the world, there are not many trustworthy people that are willing to put in the work and grind.  Mac has not had the best talent....Lee Atkins did.... but the freshman class has talent but so does shelbyville, Tullahoma, and others. If you are a shady parent or coach then yes you will not like Mac.

Given McCurry's history, I'd say the opposite

      It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
