BUCKG
How is it that we have a State Chairman with no ties to our state? TNUSA is dying on the vine as several quality coaches I have spoken with say they are finished with the organization.
SAC
An annual membership meeting with a total five clubs represented. One coach who attended can’t even cast a vote because his school won’t recognize wrestling outside of the school season. It was posted on this message board well in advance announcing the date. Another one followed up with a location and time. Heck an email from the board was sent out with the proposed amended bylaws a week prior for review. They even identified the positions up for re-election. Then, a reminder email about the meeting was sent out; to every coach in the state on Vandergriff’s list. This was a step in the right direction. The only way our voice can be heard is to stay engaged. Remember this is for the kids...

So these Quality Coaches are going to deprive their kids the opportunities to become All-Americans at the Worlds Largest and Toughest Tournament?????? They do not wrestle and support Tn then the Coaches are the ones who are not supporting the system and state not the Kids.

Some people will never be happy, unless they are unhappy.

The are really only two reasons not to attend the USA Wrestling Cadet/Junior Nationals in Fargo, ND if you want to wrestle in college: 1. Cost, but that can often be worked out if that is the only issue 2. Kids & or their coaches have a fear of getting their backside handed to them and going 0-2. The reality is if you don't have the skill set to go and compete at this tournament you probably don't need to be wrestling in college.
