I would hold judgement until more information is released.  This could have very well just been one of those morale boosting scenarios... it’s cool to HS kids to have a former NFL LB on the field in shells surely he wasn’t really going “live”.

Agreed.  Back in the day, while no helmet/pads were on, coaches frequently grabbed an arm pad and went against players...and we loved it!  But that was back in the day when smelling salt was preferred over concussion protocol....

If the statement is true HC should be fired and a HUGE lawsuit is coming. This is completely unacceptable to have a former NFL player suit up for practice against HS kids
