Springfield (4-2, 2-0) vs Mont Central (6-1, 2-1)

Recommended Posts

Defensively if we stuff the run on 1st and 2nd down they will be in trouble because passing long distance to get a 1st down isn't there thing (KInda like BDP).

Offensively if we have a great balance of run and pass we can put up some points. Would love to see a lot of jet sweeps to Boyd #21 and some passes to #15 and #20. Everyone is back healthy for the first time since week 2! Cant wait to see how the Jackets look tonight. May surprise a lot of people!

Central - 21

Jackets - 35

The weather will play a huge factor into the game imho. The rain that’s suppose to come will play into Central's favor with their big running backs. It is good to see the Jackets back at full strength tonight. I believe on a dry field the jackets are a 2 TD favorite, tonight I’d be happy with a 1 point win with both sides staying healthy. As always go Jackets.

Social dweebs will not be able to broadcast the Springfield vs Montgomery Central game tonight due to the fact that Montgomery Central can’t get us into their press box nor supply us with a power source to make broadcasting possible. Sorry for the inconvenience but we will be back next week to do the game from Portland.

Jackets started off rough against the run but have picked it up since then. The offense is moving but seem somewhat retrained due to the inability to pass, maybe #7 gets a shot or they just stay run oriented with #5 and play good defense. I believe they will need to score at least one more time if not more.....

i believe if the Jackets would have ran the ball more and strayed away from the passing it would not have been close. Takeing nothing away from MC they played and fought back and won.

I agree. I understand passing when they were playing way behind the chains due to bad snaps or penalties. The RB screen pass worked both times. I know it’s not easy but the Jacket QB has trouble holding a wet football.  I kind of expected a similar offensive game like we saw at White House running 9

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
