#1 Greeneville @ #2 Betsy

Devilman03 did a lot of horn blowing on here this week before the game. I see two post after the game where he's downing the Greeneville coaches. Can't give Betsy any credit? I think you were saying Greeneville by 3 TD's earlier this week. You had the same coaching staff last night that you had on Monday. What's the problem? Elizabethton is simply the better team. They were better on Monday and they were better last night. You've been spoiled into thinking Greeneville would rule the world forever and that only happens in Maryville. The kind of talent you've had the past two years only comes around about once every 30 years or so unless you have "Rebels" painted on the side of your helmets.

I gave Betsy credit and also the coaching has been lacking from the start. Hansel imo is not very good at play calling this year. They have been so predictable it’s sickening. Almost every 1st down play is the exact same. The first 5 games or so we opened the game with the same play every-time and sometimes the same 3 plays.

Why did they stop feeding Gudger when he was on fire? clock Management was TERRIBLE. Coaching was costly as it was in game 1. Both very winnable games but it was costly. 

Again Congrats to Betsy they were able to overcome some costly mistakes and we weren't. But this game is meaningless when the playoffs start outside of home-field advantage.

2009 Devils went 11-4 with a Silver Ball and a chance to win that game and didn’t. 8-2 or 10-0 means nothing Week 1 of the playoffs.

I wouldn't say they were better on monday etc. They got us last-night yes but we will see what happens later on

Betsy didn’t get pushed around like they were in the last 2 years and I told devilman this team has worked hard in the weight room just for these type games.Go Betsy!!

If they  would have just kicked it with 8 seconds left it would have been 37 yard's. How about this you have a timeout  left run it with Mason he might have broken another one if not you call timeout and kick the field goal if he gains 5 yard's it's a 32 yard kick. But no we did what we did and it was 54 yard's which I can't even believe he attempted. Would have been nice to have those 3 points at the end of the game

I agree I've said it before this season especially in the Boone game... AJ Stewart does not touch the ball 1 time on offense?... With Iezzi, Stewart, Stevenson, Pruitt, we dont know what a jet sweep, toss plays the screen plays we used with J. Gillespie last year? Too much talent and speed to run the same play all game all year long... we went up 21-7 and played not to lose... 21-21 5 minutes left we run straight up the middle now 3rd and 12... Hopefully the next 2 games we learn to air it out a little and get the speed on the edges l.

Hopefully they figure out Between the tackles isnt going to work 30 times a game this year. The Goal line turnover on downs was costly. We score there and the games probably over.

You guys need to put the book of excuses back on the shelf and walk away. This is starting to sound pathetic. I think Betsy is camping out in your heads now. I think they beat you again in the playoffs.

If you read  my post I was very complimentary of elizabethton. They won the game up front and Rollins is a special player I am friend's with his uncle he is a great kid. And if they play again elizabethton would have to be considered the favorite going In. But GHS would have to beat a extremely good Anderson county team before that could happen. It's going to be very difficult to do. Can they do it yes I think they can will they ? I have no idea. But Waco I will say this.this is a board where people come to talk football you might get caught up in all the trash talk I do not. I enjoy talking football. By discussing Greeneville"s problems I am in no way taking away from Elizabethton's victory. THEY WERE THE BETTER TEAM. But the things I said about the coaching staff or facts. I have been to every game they have played . A lot of people are concerned with it. I'm going to talk football when I get on here not trash talk. And I'm going to say what I believe right or wrong if you don't like it you don't have to read it
