The tide went undefeated against both of our 4a teams we played. Back in early 2000s a 2a squad would be lucky to hang with a quality 4a squad, and it didn’t matter how good the smaller school was... just shows how bad some schools have gotten in West TN

Yeah but the more I look at that game it was real obvious the better team won. Covington had no ability to get vertical and we knew it. Their offense had no chance.

The key word is “quality”. The two 4A schools y’all played are junk. They have a combined record of 3-11. Not taking anything away from you guys. But to say that it shows how bad some schools have got based on the fact that two buttery soft 4A schools got destroyed by the best 2A team in the state is a bit of a stretch.

Totally agree. I guess I should’ve thrown in that facing some of the lesser 4a’s in them days, even the 2a would win you wouldn’t see a 55-7 score

I watched some of the Crockett vs obion game and a little of another obion game and and I honestly thought they would do better. I don’t mean this in an arrogant way but either we make people look bad or they don’t want to play us.
