Sir its Trezevant and last i check they went on to win the gold that year correct? Futhermore if Trezevant had a or some ineligible players why were the there games not taken from them....Trezevant was 3-1 at the time of this report, if there games had been taken away they would have never made the playoffs....No victim played here sir https://wreg.com/2016/09/29/trezevant-high-forfeits-football-season-after-grade-discrepancies-discovered/ That one game that was taken from the kids that week was still wrong after the district had NO finding to support what was being reported.... The TSSAA, however, has reported that no violations have been found involving the Trezevant football team, so practices have resumed and the team will play out the remainder of the 2016 football schedule. The only game this season the team will have to forfeit is the September 29th game against Memphis Academy of Health Sciences.” Edited October 16, 2019 by memphisfinest

Most to 4 year university not JUCO. Let’s not talk about the academic scholarships. Don’t believe all the stereotypes about Memphis. Yes we don’t have a few bad apples but you can’t name many Memphis programs that actually cheated. False. Lake county has had countless players go on to play football at the next level and who knows how many that elected to not play in college that very well could have. If prep is so talented why are they getting beat downs from lake county every single year, all while they are cheating? Memphis really are the worst, I remember last year before the round 3 game y'all were talking trash all week and when lc gave ya the beatdown y'all wanted to cry that we played dirty. All that "D1 talent" and you can't beat anybody but the garbage Memphis teams.

He got fired so did a lot of other faculty members. The principal come out and said the coaches recruited players. They reported enrollment lower than what it was so they could play in 2a and they changed grades.

I knew when my bud at TCA told me that they made the Goldsmith kid look like a HS player to a college kid, then I knew they had some illegal stuff going on at Trezevant. SMH, no other faculty just two people.... Do facts sir...oh yeah principals do not always tell the truth either.... TSSAA executive director Bernard Childress said the state's prep sports governing body is looking into the allegations, but he added that Mackin's charge of falsifying enrollment figures is not true. "We don't take enrollments from the schools. That would be the dumbest thing in our history," Childress said. "For obvious reasons we would never take the word of a principal or coach as to what their enrollment is. We get our information from the state Department of Education and use their figures to determine classification for our schools. "If Trezevant had turned in an enrollment of 250 fewer students than what they actually have, we would have discovered it when we cross-referenced it by the Department of Education's figures. The only way to fix enrollments is if Shelby County board of education and the state Department of Education had lied to us."

You can post all the articles you want just like the rest of the Memphis coach to people do but principal had no reason to lie. Corruption is rampant in Memphis. They just shut down a school few months ago for giving false grades

A large school in the Chattanooga area had 5A enrollment for football at the last reclassification restart, just a few weeks later the school listed their enrollment as well over the 6A cutoff. Either they got very lucky or there was some monkey business going on.
