Stratford at East

East all day on this one. I want to say 3tds, but out of respect for the tradition of Stratford I will say 2tds.  East won’t be caught asleep at the wheel again with revenge on their mind.  This isn’t the old Stratford.  Talent no way near the tradition except for the RB.  Stratford freshman got throttled yesterday at Father Ryan 40-6.  The lone score was in the 4th.

I'll take Stratford, Lil East can't stop the run. Weak in the middle, #2 should have a field day!!!

Ok serious question. This Stratford team brought back so many starters from last year and was predicted to be the 3A team to beat out of middle TN. What has happened?

They were overlooked last year after a horrible start.  Coaching change brought new life to team.  Add the two and it is a recipe for a great end to the season....not this year.  I don’t see how anyone put them above PC or East as the team to beat.

I knew about last year. A lot of publications had them picked to do very well again this year. Especially since they brought back so many starters off a team that beat PC in the playoffs and went to the semis losing to Covington in OT.

I just want to know who said that startford returned a lot. They graduated 15+ seniors that all played last year. Freight, Reed, Farmer, Owen's just to name a few. And atleast 2 or 3 more lineman gone. The other middle LB too. Reeds at Tsu, Owen's is at EKU, not sure about others.

Freights at TSU and the LB is at Cumberland

I told everybody before the season started, that Stratford lost alot off last years team. Last year Stratford got hot at the right time and went on a great run. They should've finished it off because they will never get that far again. But I do like them against lil East tho. I think #2 should be able to run down Lil East throat defensive line for lil East is suspect!!!

Agree with everything you said except for the outcome of the game.  I wasn’t at the PC/East game but the score says the D is still stout to me.  And you have several playmakers at PC....this ain’t the case for Stratford.  The RB is a heckuva workhorse, but East LBs hit him all night.  That O-line for Stratford is suspect too from what I heard from a coach who went against them.

Can't go by the score when we threw the ball 3 times against them and they had the whole team in the box lol. Far as East LBs hitting james I wont to see that lol. Dont to many want to do that and pray that it's not cold lol. I think East will win buts it's a district rival/EastSideRival/Kids been going to school with each other for years so with involved it could go anyway.
