2A playoffs Region 7 vs Region 8

Well after last night the playoffs got clearer.  Eventhough there is a 4 way tie right now, Gc is out unless they upset Peabody.  Here is where it lands

Peabody

Union city

Aville/mckenz winner

Aville/mckenz loser

 

Of course that assumes halls doesnt upset Union City.  I do not think these upsets will happen.

I think our 4 now would put up a better game than GC would against fairley

#1 Peabody will host MAHS

#2 Union City will host Douglas

#3 McKenzie will travel to Mitchel

#4 Adamsville will travel to Fairley

some good matchups, as I believe our 3 and 4 can bring a good matchup against region 8 1 and 2. Good luck to all the region 7 teams next week

Depends on what field is available. Last year we played them at Oakhaven in the first round

They’ve play the majority of their games at Whitehaven, but they made the playoffs so probably will be at Halle stadium

It may be Oakhaven but I pray it is not there.Worst stadium in the world. Whitehaven will will be at home and Fairley will play at John P Freeman since they finished first.

Last year we did not find out until the day before the game. And the field was terrible at Oakhaven. A win to just get out of there with no injuries. Also if it is there that means very very small visitors stands. Might as well sit on the home side. Our student section did and there were no issues.

I think these games will split. I think round two will be 

Mitchell vs Peabody 

UC vs Fairley 

 

Peabody will more than likely put up a running clock in rounds 1&2. And then face Fairley in round 3 and I think that will be the biggest test for Peabody yet. Just my opinion on things.
