Shawshank
Assuming this game is close, I’m not sure it’s better to win. It’s so hard to beat a team twice in one season. And if these teams do rematch in round 3, the team that LOSES the first game gets to be the home team in round 3. Not logical...but that’s the way it’ll shake out if there is indeed a rematch. The winner would have home field all the way to Cookeville.

I just hope none of the coaches have facial hair. I mean, nobody wants to coach at Gallatin, quit living in the past.

Gallatin can pass the football, so that is a dynamic Beech will have to worry about, on top of stopping a division 1 possible SEC RB. (depending if he plays) Gallatin kicker is an advantage to Gallatin's special teams...great leg Big game friday night with a huge crowd. Both 8-0. One team is going undefeated, the other still 9-1. And in all honesty, the first of two meetings. Rematch redemption. Going to be another unpopular opinion, but I think Beech has two backs that are better. QB has gotten much better and more confident throughout the year.
Verb58
As far as the playoffs goes. The winner of this game will only travel to Page in the Quarterfinals. If Page isn’t in the quarters, the winner will host all playoff games. Page is the only team that absolutely will not travel in the playoffs. The west side (regions 5-8) wears road whites in December.

This is what is printed at the bottom of the bracket: All times are local time. In the first and second rounds the higher seeded team shall be the host school. In the third round and semifinals in even-numbered years the bottom team in each bracket shall be the host team. If two teams from the same region meet in the third round, the team seeded higher in the region standings shall host. According to this, Friday night's winner would be on the road in the quarterfinal (bottom is on the road in odd years) if ANY Region 5 team is the opponent. Seeding only comes into play if two teams from the same region meet in the quarterfinal. That's the way I read that anyway.
