Oak Ridge vs Powell Thursday Night

Another big game for Powell.  Powell with the win is surely to have the first 3 games of the playoffs at home.  Oak Ridge is playing well as of late.  What are your thoughts?

I say Powell wins but I think OR can stay in the game if they play smart.

Will Powell have a hangover from the big win? Can they complete the big plays when the opportunity arises? And will the win for Oak Ridge boost their confidence and help drive their effort? All questions that’ll have to be answered Thursday night, but on paper Powell should win.

This is going to be an interesting game, especially after last week's emotional win for Powell. OR has clearly improved and is playing their best ball of the season. I'll take Powell by a TD, but I wouldn't be shocked to see OR pull the upset.

Oak Ridge can win but Powell should be favored by 17 points. I will make my prediction Wednesday night. Wildcat Heart. Wildcat Pride. Roll Wildcats Roll!

It looks as if Powell should win somewhere around 38/45-7 based on this past Friday’s game between Powell and West. West beat OR 24-7 and Powell is at least 2-3 TD’s better than West with a good officiating crew. Just basing it off of what I saw on DCM. I’ll say Powell 35-14

Hey, I can low ball the Wildcats and say they are a 17 point dog because I am an Oak Ridge fan.

You on the other hand better watch your mouth with that 38/45-7 garbage!

Naw man, I'm just kidding ya.      I didn't mean what I said. Seriously though, West was certainly the better team when they played OR. The Wildcats however have improved greatly since that night.

The MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION for me is, just how much have the Cardinal and Gray improved???

Oh, this is all over my Twitter page, Powell has a freshman Receiver who just got offered by LSU! This makes his third SEC offer. I don't think Tee was being offered as a freshmen.

Tee Higgins is a once in a generation type talent. You can watch HS football your entire life and you'd be lucky to see more than 1 kid with that kind of talent

I agree with you!!! I’m just saying that if the Powell kid grows, matures, and gets better, he has a world of football opportunities in front of him.

No doubt. It's amazing to see the amount of Power 5 talent the state is pumping out these days

Amari Rodgers from Knox Catholic has gone nuts with productivity at Clemson this season. AND this is coming off ACL surgery this spring.

Even smaller schools like Greenback have a Power 5 talent.

Tennessee is blessed with talent, good high school coaching and many other coaches who work with players in the off season.

If I were 16 years old today, I bet all the coaching would be able to make me good enough to get off the bleachers and down on the field as a water boy.
