Fayetteville to forfeit 6 wins

The problem I have is that they didnt even go through the appeals process they AGREED to go through as a member institution. What are they afraid of? Had they gone to the appeals hearing today and not gotten what they wanted, then file with the court. They literally thumbed their nose at the TSSAA

TSSAA is not the institution that chose not to go through the appeals process they agreed to as a member institution.

I have to agree with Vandy. TSSAA doesn't force anyone to join their association... you apply and pay a fee to become a member. This isn't about the "law" it's about their policy, and the policy allows for appeals.

None direct.  Grew up there, don’t live there now, went to school in the County system exclusively.  Quite honestly, ‘hated’ City growing up  

I like law, logic, reason, football. That’s about it.  My position is based primarily on a belief that their ruling is logically at odds with their rules.

I believe TSSAA knows the rules and how they are to be interpreted. 

I think Fayetteville will soon find that out in a heavy-handed way.

I have many gripes with them as well.  Mainly transparency.

It is a bad look for Fayetteville to completely ignore the appeals process and jump straight to court system. Had they waited a couple of hours to ride out the appeals, it would be much different scenario.

I’m surprised you are so confident in their abilities, given that they arrived at two diametrically opposed conclusions in a 6 week span, with no apparent or claimed change in the base information.  That tends to make me skeptical

Doesnt the original letter state "based on the information you have provided"? Could it be that Fayetteville did not include all of the information? Wouldnt be the first time a school did such.
