What a gutsy game from a team with 32 players .... Playing with a W R as a Q B who has been out 8 weeks with knee injury  ... Lost starting qb last week .. Lost RB  last week  .. Lost another R B in 1st qtr ... Played with a freshman wr and freshman r b the rest of game ... I sat there watching thinking these kids are out numbered .. Out sized  ..small sized  Freshman playing everywhere and they gutted it out against a improved OR team who had Powell beat  .. These kids didn't care they were 2-7 ... And to have 450 yards of offense  .. Wow

Definitely. I would be proud too, Tad. Great game by the Falcons, sadly can't say the same for the Cats.

S S ... Definitely not same team that I thought out played Powell ... May be a team that plays up and down to competition ... OR has  some studs out there  .. #1 is going to be something  .. If ya can hold on to him ... I watched them come back down hill for 2nd half  .. A lot of those kids are stout  and athletic  .. Some of Falcon young guys definitely need to hit weights  ... Eat some calories but they are tough kids .. Good luck .. Everybody 0-0 now .

Hey you can't fumble 3 times and have a pick 6 in the first half and do good. And what has happened to our kicking game? missed a extra point and a field goal that is basically a extra point! Oh Well we still got: And of course 3 PI calls on one drive?

I don't know about that, 86 Karns was pretty bad haha, but this was a really bad loss for sure. Gotta give credit to Fulton though, they beat us fair and square.

I will give you that.  So what your saying is worse loss in 33 years. lol. That's debatable,   Fans, band and students were terrific once again. Not so much our performance on the field.  Hopefully we get back to work and be ready to play at Soddy.   For those of us that will go to the game, starts at 7.

WillieTheWildcat you get your wish.  Cats are coming to SD.

I will be there but sitting on the home side. I could barely walk this week because of my diabetes so we're going to take the first open seats we see.

Non football related .. just wanted to say that Oak Ridge band was outstanding  .. the songs that played  .. they are very good.

Hear that Dobyns-Bennett, stick that in your pie hole and blow.  :-D

Thanks Tadvols for the compliment to the WildBand. We are proud of all our student sections. For me, I just love the Cheerleaders' WileyTheWildcat mascot. We be blood.

Oak Ridge had almost 500 yds of offense and lost. That was the worst pass defense Ive ever seen Oak Ridge play in a real game. But Gaddis took blame and deserved a lot of it.You cant go into any game telling your team your gonna rest guys because then they think its gonna be an easy win.Because of a good 2 weeks this team started acting like they are some great team.If the coaches really didn't care about if they won or lost and wanted to rest guys and work on things then that's ok.But why then let some of the guys go in after your down 14-0.The CBs on this team looked like they had no idea how to play CB and for some reason kept doing the same things.I.Johnson was again our best WR and wasn't in on some important series.I love Jackson but as of now Romano is your best RB and I may be wrong but I don't think he had 1 carry tonight.QB could've kept and ran so many times and would handoff up the middle into a crowd. So many things made no sense. Its just hard to believe Minor wouldn't adjust his defense or Gaddis wouldnt have his team ready and pumped so I don't know what to think.Lets hope they are thinking of a bigger picture because that was bad in so many ways.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
