WC got some payback tonight and beat Coffee by a score of 71 to 55. It was a 30 point lead when the starters sat down with about 7 minutes left in the game. Slatten had 28 in the first half and finished with 39 points.

White County beats Warren County in the finals of the Sonic Shootout. It wound up about an 18 point win, but most of the game is was a 8 - 10 ppint lead for the Warriors.

White County beats a solid Warren County team 69 to 63. Game was close the entire game. We made our free throws when we needed to.

SMHS beat warren county tonight by 25 and it didn’t feel that close. Looking forward to the rest of the district.

At some point these boys (SMHS) are going to get the credit they deserve. They shoot it well from the perimeter and they’ll pass you to death in man. They play tough defense every night. They aren’t flashy, but they just keep winning (by 20+ in district). They don’t have just one scorer.  They have 6 that can go double figures any night. Better keep an eye (or 2) on these boys on the mountain. They’re unselfish and a tough out imo.

#1 vs #2 in 6AAA at White County Tuesday night. I think White and Stone are the 2 best teams in the District. Not sure who is 1 and who is 2. We shall see Tuesday night.

30-23 wchs at the halftime. Refs are getting in the way of what is a good game. Definitely best 2 in the district. Wchs has a deeper bench and that’s making a difference. Smhs looks tired.

Wchs definitely the better team tonight. Would gestimate 50-60 fouls called in the game.  Tonight’s refs have no business in a game that has any impact on postseason. Slaten as advertised. Look forward to 2 more meetings with these 2.

Lots of fouls called. WC County had 3 players with 4 fouls with 2 minutes left in the THIRD quarter. WC played well tonight. The next game will be closer. Good job Warriors!

At the end of the day wchs got the win but it’s really only psychologically. 1-2 in district is all either one of these teams needs big picture wise. Districts are at wchs as well as regions. District tournament champs is the goal so you can be opposite Cleveland in the regions.   No one is looking forward to seeing them before they have to. Coach Mitchell had them ready tonight no doubt.
