The last time WB met DB was in 2016 and the Governors won 37-28.    That sounds about right for this game as well, except DB wins it 37-28.

Awful? We had a lead on Elizabethton, who beat Science Hill, until about 4 minutes into the 4th quarter and two late turnovers lost us the game. You can't just go by overall records. DB also thought it was a sure win when they were 10-0 and we were 6-4 in 2006.

You really have to like DB's chances in this one, the only thing is that WB comes in riding a 2 game win streak while DB is on a 2 game skid.    The DB coaches have to get those losses out of the guy's heads and get them focused.     I'm sure the WB kids know the playoff history with DB so no doubt they will be motivated.   Will probably be a  pretty good game.

This is not a 2006 WB team. Super heart and fight, but WB in ‘06 & ‘07 was one of the best I have seen since moving here in ‘02.  Of course DB had some future stars as well.  New coaching staff at DB makes the difference.  How well would WB do against Alcoa?  Even though DB lost to Alcoa, I saw enough toughness and talent to believe they will not overlook WB.  Love the Governor’s heart and toughness, but DB has something to prove, Indians by at least 10 points.

Sometimes young folks don't believe you until something happens.No question  that the DB team knows they can be beat and there is zero room for a bunch of mistakes from this point on.Got to play smart and hear what the coaches are saying all week long and prepare for a first round war.The team done really well against Alcoa and needs to step it on up every week.Roll Tribe !

The main thing DB has to do in this game is respect WB.They earned the right to be in the playoffs.Have a friend in bestey that went over to watch there game with WB and said they are a good team and able to knock off the tribe if they don't come in taking them serious.What either team did in the reg season don't mean anything now.Everyone is 0-0 and now its win or go home!!!!
