DeKalb is becoming the standard of solid regular season most years and then 1 and done in post season. 1-7 since 2012 and only in 2012 did they make it to the second round.. I’m gonna have to pick Tully in this one but I’ll say it’s closer than experts say.... Now if the stache himself, the legend Coach Olive wanted to challenge DeKalbs coach to a bench press competition or PlayStation Madden tournament then I’m definitely going with the hat wearing backwards, T shirt untucked jacked up guy to get the W.  But if we are simply talking about the first or second round of playoffs with Coach Steve Trapp and staff at Dekalb County then just go to YouTube and type in Jim Mora.. Ah -- playoffs? Don't talk about -- playoffs? You kidding me?

You can laugh all you want and believe DC cant play with them but im telling you this will be a good old game. DC was 1 and 3 an won 5 of there last 6.  Yes this is a big game and for DC but i believe they can play with them.  Aldino is the key to this game. some times he looks like a pro sometimes not to hot but if he throws the ball down field than yes they can play with THS. i look at this game to see how much DC has grown. Tell me this who has THS beat this yr. Looking at there schedule they havent beat anyone at all.

If DC can put pressure on the QB then they might have a chance to beat Tully. If not this will be a blow out. Tully doesn't have much of a running game. On D Tully has some tough players that will get after you.

i agree with you they have to make them throw quick. This game is so crazy even Tully OP records 46-54 DCs OP record 49-51 they both lost to 3 really good teams DC has the game against WC where they had 7 turnovers first game of season outside of that dead even match up. Thomas vs Nokes on the outside is going to be a good one to watch both are college tallent players. Palmer is what worries me because Nokes will have to lock down Thomas all night so who can DC cover Palmer with??????  DC plays crazy good at home but this is the best team thats played there all year at home Smith was good and Macon pretty good i believe this game will go all 4 qrts

Honestly bud it has zero to do with Tullahomas team or talent, it has everything to do with DeKalbs entire history in the post season. Do you know how many posters have came through here saying the same things you are? about not counting DeKalb out and how they got a great shot at upsetting their first round matchup?!? It would be very similar to me telling my 6 year old daughter the tooth fairy is real but every time she put a fallen out tooth under the pillow nothing happened except her crying the next morning.. exactly what DeKalb fans will be on here doing after the game Friday night unless Coach Trapp has decided to surprise everyone and actually Win a playoff game.

      He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons

      A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.

      Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
