I had my doubts about the 3-4 this year, but it is getting it done. 

I still perfer 4 hands in the dirt and Carroll free to head hunt off the edge.

Another key to Alcoa's defensive sucess is #7 Blankenship at MLB.

Maybe not as big as some DLs  in the past, 2015 comes to mind, but very athletic, strong and team oriented guys that play with great effort.

I'm not sure a 4-3 with Carroll coming free off the edge would be very fair to other teams.  LOL

Yea we tried to do it YEARS ago and had the worst year "3-7".

Well maybe from the video Alcoa DL is just bigger then most teams back that way and you can't beat Team oriented guys. I think that's the main thing that's got us going so far this year.

I don't want to give the wrong impression, they've got good size. I think Carroll is listed at 6-3 245 on HUDL and TT is taller and built similar.  I was just comparing them to the line of 2015.

You're right, Football is the ultimate team game. Getting kids, parents, everyone to buy in that the Ring is what matters, not stats or your name in the paper, that's when a team can really be successful.

McAllister had 316 total yards last game.  That includes a 20 yd loss he took when a snap sailed over his head.  He couldn't have caught it on a ladder lol.  Unfortunately, he's the only candidate in a non-metro media market which impacts his chances.
