The 1st Rematch: Tyner hosts Trousdale

Last year I thought Baines - #8 clearly was the best player on the field in the game and he graduated.  Granted - you could probably say from last year TC had the best 11 players on the field for the 48 minutes. Rankins is a beast and #6 ran the show very well as QB but who has replaced Baines production?

I don’t think this is a secret for Tyner #1 - QB, #11 WR, #32 FB are our top returning threats but #3 has had somewhat of a breakout year running and #2 has been a real difference maker runner for us.

Much respect to your line and if they are significantly better than us it won’t matter how dynamic your skill players are.  Just feel that Baines was an equal or better than players like Price, Swafford, etc and curious how you have replaced him.

More of a committee than last years team, and probably are best back this year only played 2 games last year, he has corrected some mistakes and is enjoying a great senior season

We will be qb by committee we have no one to replace him so take it easy on us Tyner.

We have a kid at QB just as fast if not faster than Baines. The difference this year us TC usbr dependent on one player. TC this year is a better overall team especially on defense. TC. TC has 3 really good backs and a QB that can break an 80-yard run anytime. We have a back that has pick up a lot of Baines production.

Rtd be quite u talking too much. U know our Qb ain't that fast.

Not sure why im sharing this info but watch out for QB #10, he has a legit cannon on him. Most likely he will be looking to connect with #30 and #80 who are growing into there roles. #22 RB has some real speed and has displayed it a time or 2 this year. But none of these guys compare to #8 from last year. That kid is irreplaceable.

Sounds like both teams have multiple weapons and that TC is definitely not one dimensional.  

Both Ryals and Batiste will be irreplaceable for us.  If we can't compete or beat you this year, our best bet may be that you guys drop back to 1A in a few years and Watertown moves up to 3A - just being honest.

That would help us all! Question for TC guys though.... With the new open enrollment thing you have, do you expect your numbers to keep you in 2A?
