That's really good when you stop and consider .... from no program to region champs in 10 years. And, your Milan neighbors have tons of history, so y'all have done something to compete in the same county with them. 

Good luck tomorrow night, though, cause my Chargers don't want their season to end either. Somebody is going to advance and somebody isn't.

Thanks for the kind words my man. I appreciate that. The community really rallies behind the football team and the schools. 

Milan is not only in the same county as us, we are about 7 miles the way a crow flies from them. We also have to share a walmart! 

I hate everything purple. I will not even buy my kids crayons because there is the color purple in the box..... HA! 

I believe both teams are going lay it all on the line tomorrow night. I just hope that the refs do not get overly involved in the game. They last thing I want to see is the zebras decide the contest.

Well, you know purple is one of Covington's colors (we're purple and gold). Y'all have orange, but at least it isn't that UT orange. We let our oldest child go to UT, but we didn't talk to him for 5 years afterward. Ha.

Seriously, he got 2 degrees up there, but went to Georgia for his PhD, and now is a professor at Memphis. That helps cancel out the Urange influence. 

Knowing y'all's aversion to purple, we need our cheer squad to get out the purple poms and wave them at critical junctures in the game.

Covington gets the first of their next 3 wins tmro night on their path to the Clinic Bowl. Was thinking Cov would win this one anyway in the rematch by several scores, now add the above and it further suggest so. 

In game 1 a punting mishap greatly benefited SGC , this time I wouldn't be surprised if Cov gets a crucial fake punt for score or drive extender or a return or blocked punt

Like he said earlier #5 shuts em down.

Just 10-1/2 hours until kickoff now. I'm really looking forward to this rematch. And, the winner gets who next week? Milan? Wooddale? Who knows?

One thing is certain - if Covington were to win tonight, we are still on the road. Not winning the region meant that we don't get a home game at all this year.

Nope. 

The highest seed would still host. So the game would be at woodale.

It says at the bottom of the bracket the first and second round the higher seed host and in the 3rd round in odd number years the team at the top of the bracket host if the teams are not in the same region but if they are in the same region the higher seed host. I may be wrong though.

Good luck to both teams tonight, two classy, well coached programs. Since the last one ended in dramatic fashion ill take Covington 21-17 in this one. Just a random guess because this game could go either way.

I stand corrected then. My bad, I did not think they started changing till the quarter finals.
